ForensicSight is dedicated to enhancing forensic investigations by accurately classifying bloodstain patterns using advanced machine learning techniques. Our aim is to streamline the process of analyzing crime scenes, focusing on differentiating between passive, transfer, and impact blood stains across various surfaces. We employ YOLOv7 algorithm for real-time object detection and convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for precise classification in addition to Roboflow to annotate photos of crimescenes. Our research is currently ongoing, as we aim to improve our accuracy rates.
This project focuses on creating accurate and realistic age-progressed images of missing individuals using machine learning techniques. Our goal is to aid in locating missing persons by synthesizing these images and comparing them with visual forms of social media and CCTV footage. This approach utilizes Generative AI such as Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and Stable Diffusion Algorithms for realistic aging transformation and facial recognition algorithms for efficient comparison with existing visual data.
